Ring ring the bell rang
finally is their reveal time
where they get access to their world of freedom.
The live of laughter
and the rise in number,
Its a place where it no longer use to be.
Suddenly a bird flew down.
when the lesson is over,
Ring ring the bell rang.

The poet wrote 'Ring ring the bell rang' on the beginning and at the end is to indicate about the time where something is going to happen after the bell goes off.
The poet uses typography where the arrangement of the lines is very messy is to show that after the bell goes of, the view of student in the canteen is very crowded... (to be continued)
The poet uses typography where the arrangement of the lines is very messy is to show that the view in the canteen is equally messy where people can be found all over the place.

(personal response coming up next)
The poet uses words like 'reveal' and
'access'.In fact, the poet is trying to combine these two words to form a new word recess*
(reveal+access=recess)
take re* from 'reveal'
and cess* from 'access'
gives you recess*
(This shows that students is probably having math lesson before recess*)
Also the fact that the poet is trying to hide the word recess is implying to the people that they actually hide their feelings and do not dare to show it to people.
Unlike the first stanza , the second stanza is more direct.Basically, its trying to show that there is an increase in both the number of people and the noise level.Perhaps the poet wants to show that these people in the canteen start to gets more direct, in which showing that people is slowly showing their true feelings.
The poet also states 'Suddenly a bird flew down'.
The poet is trying to show that there is a decline in the number of people and the noise level trying to hint that something is going to end soon which is referring to the 'reveal time'.
Good play of words. One would not have been able to see the relation between the words, 'reveal', 'access' and 'recess' easily. In choosing the words, 'reveal time', it indicates the usage of poetic licence and perhaps highlights the writer's desire to create a new world where 'freedom' is indeed revealed...that is during recess.
This new world that the pupils enter also changes during recess. From a place of serenity, the poet seems to have turned it into a chaotic scene. This scene, fortunately, would not last long as the bird symbolises the calm that would soon follow - having been driven away earlier by the crowd.
The poet is very direct in illustrating about what happen in the canteen, & what can be seen in the canteen. It talks about the scene when recess starts, and when recess is over. The poet also illustrate the feelings of students when it's recess time.
Yes, I agree with Mrs Tan, good play of words. But its hard for me to connect 'access' and 'reveal' together. The 'ring ring the bell rang' is so cliche. HEHE.
Thanks for the comments and sorry for the reply...^.^
